Xi'an has a very large and lively market within the city's Muslim Quarter. This shot is of a stand in the section of the market that sells food, mostly dried fruit, Chinese candy, and nuts. At the very least visit this market at night when you visit Xi'an.

Opps sorry for the double post but the comment above goes to the previous photo! This shot is particularly interesting to me as I am a dried fruit broker that travels to China frequently.
