I'm an American exchange student to a Chinese university. I have made many discoveries since coming to China, and one of them happens to be exploring photography as an art rather than just communication.

I don't think I'll be able to take a class in photography, so I'm going to have to learn as I go, which can be a better experience than learning in the classroom. I'll still need some instruction though, so please critique to your heart's content.
